Architecture begins with careful listening to land and culture, and to the people shaping their lives and livelihoods across the Pacific Northwest. In collaboration with small business owners, families, and community developers, I create spaces that balance the familiar and the new, places that feel warm, enduring, and quietly transformative.

My work is rooted in the belief that America’s architectural traditions, from its Indigenous landscapes to its richly layered immigrant histories, offer profound materials for contemporary design. Rather than replicating the past or erasing it, I reimagine these traditions with care, curiosity, and humility.

Drawing on experience across cultural, residential, and commercial work with internationally recognized firms, I bring a practiced attention to detail, materiality, and human experience. I now focus this approach on small businesses, homeowners, and developers throughout the Pacific Northwest who seek meaningful, enduring architecture.

My favorite projects are warm, welcoming, and legible spaces that honor their communities and evolve from them. Through open dialogue with each client and a deep reading of place, I design buildings that feel inevitable, personal, and alive.
